Water Melon your Summer friend

OMG! Its so hot. Summer is at its peak & going out during the day is very difficult. So we all need something to chill in this summer. Something more refreshing, with yummy taste. This is all we need so I'm sharing the benefits of watermelon with some cool added flavoured recipes of Water Melon.
Adding a water melon in your routine during summers is good for health. The best thing about water melon is you can store them for a long time. It has many benefits like water melons have Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Support & also it works as natural Viagra.


Water Melon also helps us to maintain our health as it has very low calories so you can loose weight easily. drinking watermelon juice before a hard workout helped reduce athletes' heart rate and next-day muscle soreness. It helps heart Health. Its rich in vitamin & minerals but low in calories. It could even combat cancer. Now I'm sharing you the method to prepare water melon juice.

Ingredients :
1) 1 watermelon
2) Sugar
3) cold water OR ice cubes
Method:
1) Cut the Water Melon into small pieces.
2) Remove the seeds from the water melon.
3) put all the pieces in the blender.
4) Now add sugar according to your taste & ice cube.
5) Blend until the juice is smooth.
Now you can enjoy this cool summer drink.

Another recipe of watermelon is a vegetable. Watermelon vegetable is a common Rajasthani vegetable which is very delicious & good for health.

Ingredients: 1) A Unripe watermelon
2) cumin seeds
3) Asafoetida
4) Red Paprika
5) Turmeric 
6) Salt
7) Coriander Powder
8) Water
9) Oil

Method:
1) Cut the Watermelon into small pieces.
2) heat the oil in a pan.
3) Now add cumin seed & asafoetida.
4) Now add the watermelons & stir them.
5) Now add all the spices mentioned above & stir well so that all the spices can be mixed with the melons.
6) Now add small amount of water.
7) Put the lid on the pan & let them cook for about 15-20 minute.
You can eat this with Indian Bread.

Easy Travel...Happy Travel

I travel a lot so I had many different experiences. I learnt many things, at times I realize I must give smart travelling tips to others to make their journey a bit comfortable. Skyscanner being the best travel companion, gave me such an amazing opportunity to share my views with #DD team. Your contest #SkyScannerDares is truly amazing with cool idea . As we know Travelling for sports can be an enriching experience, but requires elaborate preparations and careful planning. Players fly across countries and cities, managing their jet lags and travel fatigue to stay alert at practice sessions and their do-or-die matches. Then there is waiting at airport lounges, managing change in temperatures and monitoring diets. But we want to make our cricketers travel a lot more comfortable. So Here are my tips to travel smart & comfortable.


Pre Travel Preparations :

1) Make a list of things you need to carry with you & keep the list safe because you'll need it every time while travelling. 
2) Take a proper sleep before travelling.
3) Pack your bags at least 6 hours prior to your travel to avoid last minute rush.
4) Eat less & healthy, include green veggies & salad in your diet, avoid oily food.
5) Reach airport on time.
6) Now when you are done with all the process & waiting for your flight so make sure you put an alarm on your mobile phone before taking rest, so that it'll remind you to board your flight.


During Travel :

1) You must intake lots of water & juice during your flight.
2) Avoid Alcohol.
3) For long distance flights, you must walk after every hour OR two to make your feet happy. ;)
4) Take a nap in the flight you'll feel more comfortable.
5) You can chit chat with other players to feel good. But, avoid discussing stressful things.


Post Travel :

1) Take a long shower OR go for swimming to get refreshed.
2) Eat healthy.
3) If you are travelling across different time zone then you must make sure, that you must not go to bed during the day time of the country to avoid jet lags. Because, if you'll sleep during day time then it'll be difficult for you to adjust according to that countries time zone. It'll take longer for you to adjust in the new time zone so make this your habit from day one.
4) Take a spa or a similar thing to relax yourself.

Now you are all set to rock the ground & perfectly comfortable to hit some smashing shots.

Chill out in summer with - Aloe Vera

Summer is here, everyone is feeling the heat. So you need a special care for health & skin. Now comes the question what is the solution to these skin & health problem. The answer is Aloe vera the best natural & cheapest medicine to keep your skin glowing & to improve your health. My summer essential is my favourite plant Aloe Vera. It makes my skin & scalp healthy. I apply aloe vera on my face regularly during summers. I'll explain the procedure later in this Blog. Aloe vera is too good for scalp. It is natural & so gentle that you'll love your skin forever. The plant is easy to handle, nothing to worry about.

Aloe Vera contains so many Vitamins, Minerals, Amino acids & fatty Acids, so it is very good for our health, but consuming Aloe vera in excess may cause sever problems. you can take 1 spoon of aloe vera juice daily. It keeps our system healthy & fit. It also helps to reduce weight. Aloe Vera helps in reducing inflammation.


Using Aloe Vera for your skin:


It helps your skin in de-tanning , makes it soft & smooth, and also protects our face from pimples. It has Anti-biotic, Anti-microbial, Germicidal, Anti-bacterial, Anti-septic, Anti-fungal & Anti-viral properties, which makes it a perfect anti agent which helps our body to stay healthy.

On your face you can use it as a gel pack.
STEP 1: Apply the Aloe Vera gel evenly on your face & neck.
STEP 2: wait until its dry.
STEP 3: Remove it with a wet cotton or water.

Same way you can apply on your body but if you use it regularly on body then you dont need to wait until its dry just wash it off after massaging for 3-4 minutes.


Aloe Vera protects your hairs from daily damage, hair fall , dry scalp, itchy scalp. For a good growth of your hairs you must use Aloe Vera once a week.

Method for application:

STEP 1: Take a big Aloe vera leaf peal the cover off, now use the gel portion.
STEP 2: Apply the Gel evenly on your scalp let it dry for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 3: Wash it off properly with water.

& hairs are ready to party ;)

Goodness of Aloe Vera makes me look beautiful. It also helps in keeping my body healthy.

You can intake Aloe vera as juice. Or if you dont like its pungent smell then you can add this in your shakes & smoothies to get extra nutritions & also it keeps your stomach healthy. you can also use it for weight loss. But be careful don't intake it for a longer time in a higher quantity.You must avoid intake of Aloe Vera during pregnancy & mensuration.

I lived the Luxury, It was a lifetime experience . The life of #ThatPepsiIntern is something that everybody wants. I gotta chance to meet so many Players, big personalities & also I visited commentary box, the pitch & many more. I visited my long time dream Ferrari World.  I shopped like crazy. I visited lotsa places. Oh yes I was Second #ThatPepsiIntern . You can have a glimpse of my life as #ThatPepsiIntern.

My Welcome:


It was a warm welcome with lotsa #Pepsi , Pepsi gears etc.
Some cool moments. Being #ThatPepsiIntern is fun. Don't forget I was Intern , I worked hard, travelled so much. It was a very tight schedule ;) .


I got a fully Paid trip, Yes everything was arranged by Pepsi India. They have arranged my visa, tickets, Hotel stays , pick up & all other travel expenses with a Stipend. & the secret is they Paid for my shopping too. Now this is something like topping your dish with extra cream. I got paid for this fun ;) . I love you Pepsi for this .

My meetings with #UAE stadiums ;)



I enjoyed each & every second being #ThatPepsiIntern. I watched matches from the best seat in house #PepsiVIPBox spectacular view. I was live On national TV. I got a chance to get a insights of commentary Box as well as I interacted with Rameez Raza & Ion Bishop. & also I got a chance to meet CEO of Pepsi AMEA Sanjeev Chadha & he appreciated my work. I upgraded #ThatPepsiIntern Fans.

Then I was very very lucky to meet The God of Cricket Sachin & all Mumbai Indian Players at ICC cricket academy Dubai. I interviewed Zaheer Khan & Michael Hussey. Then I interacted with another legend Anil Kumble. I have learnt some cricketing tips from MI.  This was my life's best time I had till now. Everything happening was beyond my imagination. I got my pictures clicked with so many players.



Then I had time of my life at my dream, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. I enjoyed many rides. The best one was Formula Rossa, World's fastest Coaster. It was a thrilling experience, I was shivering even 10 minutes after the ride. Then I clicked my dream cars & shopped some souvenirs for my family.
I also visited The amazing Dubai mall, I shopped for Th@tPepsiIntern Fans & for myself too. I got a close view of World's tallest building Burj Khalifa. Ohh it was glittering so much at night. It was a beautiful view.


Now Its time to say good bye to #UAE, & handover IPL to the next Intern. I loved the hospitality provided by Pepsi, enjoyed every second of my trip. Thank you so much Pepsi for this Fun. :)
